Alternatives in the Community: James Beckett

James Beckett was enrolled in the Employment Services Program on March 29, 2011. After being incarcerated for Violation of Protective Order he was motivated to make a positive change with his life. He began the Skills Building curriculum and quickly proved himself to be an active participant. CRI introduced James to the services and resources that are available to him.

Working with the One Stop, the Career Resources staff forwarded James a lead on a job at Whole Foods. He was both excited for the chance at employment and apprehensive about the interview. His preparation paid off as he was offered a position in the hot prepared foods department at Whole Foods.
