•Establish relationships with regional employers to identify and address their hiring, training, and workforce advancement needs.
•Support and advance an integrated approach to business-driven workforce development through effective marketing, public relations, and oral and written communications
•Ability to follow written and oral instructions with minimum supervision
•Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with co‐ workers, employers, service providers, customers, diverse members of the public, and various community organizations and other governmental, civic, labor, and public groups, including being sensitive to professional ethics, gender, cultural diversity, and disability-related issues
•Support Project manager with programmatic needs (Outreach, Correspondence and Quality Assurance)
•Willingness to travel and provide on-site assistance, addressing the needs of participants and affiliates around Fairfield County
•Ability to quickly identify challenges and brainstorm solutions.
•Assisting other assigned areas, special projects as assigned.
•Produces partnership or affiliate activity reports.
•Knowledge of data management
•Ability to navigate and utilize Microsoft Office programs efficiently
•Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships
•Be aware, stay current on the career trends and the labor market
•5+ years’ experience in Business, Non-Profit Sector, Workforce, Reentry, or a combination of these
