We are now actively recruiting counselors for Camp HOPE America – Bridgeport! Our HOPE Counselors must be between 18-24 years old. Camp HOPE America – Bridgeport is a national camping and mentoring program for children and youth impacted by trauma. Sasha Collins, our Camp HOPE Coordinator, and I are now in the process of setting up interviews. Job description attached.
The HOPE Counselor positions are not formally paid roles, but we give all counselors a $250 Visa gift card at the end of the week. Camp Hi-Rock (our partner camp) provides three meals per day, lodging, and access to all their fun COVID adapted camping activities. The Center for Family Justice (CFJ) provides snacks, s’mores and camping supplies. This is a great opportunity for direct experience mentoring children and youth impacted by trauma and, as a result, an amazing resume builder. More information below!
