O&G Industries Building Group seeks an experienced working carpenter foreman to strengthen our team. Your role is to plan, organize, supervise, layout and perform journeyman-level carpentry in the alteration and construction of buildings and other site work within the education, healthcare, and/or industrial sectors within Connecticut.

The role is to provide immediate supervision to a small on-site team. A portion of time will be spent performing individual tasks related to job-site requirements. We look for someone with considerable knowledge of rough and finish carpentry, building techniques of new and remodel construction, masonry, concrete, and wood construction.

The ideal candidate is OSHA 30-hour certified and will have knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources including the demonstrated ability to get members of a group to work together safely to accomplish project tasks that meet/exceed client expectations.

Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass pre-employment testing including a background screen, be COVID-19 fully vaccinated due to client requirements, and receive an annual flu shot.
