QUICKBOOKS TRAINING IN SPANISH FOR THE FIRST TIME IN BRIDGEPORT
Bridgeport, CT– The Spanish American Merchants Association (SAMA) is pleased to announce its association with Career Resources to conduct a QuickBooks training workshop in Spanish for the very first time in Bridgeport. Classes will be from 6 pm to 9 pm, once a week, on Thursdays, starting on August 7th and continuing until September 4th, 2014, at the computer room of Career Resources, located at 350 Fairfield Avenue, on the third floor.
The workshop is free of charge but the participant must have basic computer knowledge. SAMA has been providing this training in Hartford, New Haven, Willimantic, Waterbury, Danbury, and Stamford and now for the very first time in Bridgeport. “I thank Career Resources for facilitating its computer room to make this happen,” said Mr. Julio Mendoza, SAMA’s Executive Director.
This program is the result of a collaborative effort between SAMA, The CT Small Business Development Center (CTSBDC), The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Bridgeport (HCCGB), The City of Bridgeport, SCORE and now Career Resources joined as a partnering agency.
“We at Career Resources are very glad to join SAMA and the other partnering agencies to deliver these types of programs to the Hispanic community of Bridgeport. This is totally consistent with our commitment to provide adults and youth with the skills, training and support needed to find sustainable employment,” said Scott Wilderman, Career Resources’ President & CEO.
