Hartford Youth
Work Ready, a division of Career Resources, offers employment opportunities and career pathways in construction at no cost to eligible young adults living in Hartford, Manchester, New Britain, and East Hartford. Young adults must be between the ages of 18-24 and interested in construction career opportunities.
STRIVE Connecticut
A unique three-week attitudinal job readiness course in a simulated work environment, emphasizing personal accountability; includes case management, job leads and two years of follow-up support.
Participants can now receive workforce training online and on demand.

Entry Point Staffing
Entry Point is the first-of-its-kind nonprofit staffing agency helping those formerly incarcerated find jobs with local businesses and organizations while continuing to offer full wrap-around support. In turn, businesses in the Fairfield County area find pre-vetted and experienced workers.

Youth Career Advancement
Youth Career Advancement (YCA) is a free, 8 week professional development program operated in partnership with CareerHub. This program focuses on enhancing career-and college-readiness in the 16-24 year-olds in the Greater Bridgeport area.

GED Testing
Licensed as a registered testing site through Pearson Vue, individual test takers can complete all four parts of the GED test at CRI, which includes Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. These tests are every Wednesday from 4-8pm and Friday from 9am-4pm at CRI headquarters.

- Schedule your test within 60 days of passing practice test

Jobs First Employment Services
CRI provides Jobs First Employment Services (JFES) case management services to the northwest and southwest regions. Program participants work with their Case Manager to develop an Individualized Employment Plan (IEP), including skill-building workshops, education and training programs and other activities geared towards obtaining and maintaining sustainable employment.

Everyone Works
Everyone Works is open to any jobseeker aged 18 or older with disabilities. Clients receive individualized counseling, job search assistance, and access to adaptive technology. There are no income or residency restrictions.

Platform 2 Employment
Under our WorkReady team, Platform 2 Employment Reentry helps assist justice-involved citizens with work readiness and career development training. Training includes career-related tools, financial counseling, and other resources to secure employment.

ESL Program
Now running virtually, our ESL program is great to learn practical applications of English that will be useful no matter the situation. Learn the vocabulary you need for every day life. And, every lesson is tailored to the student's level, creating a seamless learning experience.

Skills Remediation
CRI provides as needed online individualized tutoring services working on remedial math for clients enrolled in the Health Career Academy Program and who have an interest in Health Care programs such as Sterile Processing, Certified Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Tech, Medical Billing and Coding, and Dental Assisting.
